Account Deletion Guide
Complete information about deleting your Nutrivio account and what happens to your data.
🗑️ How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Nutrivio account directly from within the mobile app available on the App Store and Google Play Store. The deletion process is immediate and permanent.
Steps to Delete Your Account:
- Open the Nutrivio app on your mobile device (available on iOS App Store and Google Play Store)
- Navigate to your Profile by tapping the profile icon in the bottom navigation
- Scroll down to find the "Delete Account" button (displayed in red text at the bottom of the profile screen)
- Tap "Delete Account" to initiate the deletion process
- Confirm the deletion when prompted by tapping "Delete" in the confirmation dialog
- Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted and you will be automatically logged out
⚠️ Important Warning
Account deletion is immediate and irreversible. Once you confirm the deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our servers and cannot be recovered. Please ensure you want to permanently delete your account before proceeding.
📊 What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

⏱️ Data Retention Period
Nutrivio follows a strict data deletion policy:
- Immediate Deletion: All personal data is deleted immediately upon account deletion confirmation
- No Retention Period: We do not retain any personal data after account deletion
- Complete Removal: Data is removed from all our systems including backups within 30 days
- Third-Party Services: Any data shared with integrated services (like payment processors) follows their respective deletion policies
What We Don't Delete
In compliance with legal requirements, the following may be retained:
- Aggregated Analytics: Anonymous, non-identifiable usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you
- Legal Requirements: Data required to be retained by law (if any) will be anonymized and retained only for the legally mandated period
- Security Logs: Basic security logs for fraud prevention (anonymized and automatically deleted after 90 days)
💳 Subscription Cancellation
Account deletion automatically handles your subscription:
- Active Subscriptions: Must be canceled by user before account deletion
- App Store/Google Play: You may need to separately cancel recurring billing through your app store account
- Refunds: Processed according to our Refund Policy
- Billing History: Retained by payment processors (Apple/Google) according to their policies
